The unofficial winner of the race at Atlanta is our very own F1 Rules. That’s right, the 2006 Cobo Cup Champ wins the week which moves him into the unofficial lead of the 2009 standings. No one has ever won the Cobo Cup Championship twice. F1 Rules leads RCR Express by 6 points for the 2009 Cobo Cup lead in the overall standings.
His teams is: Carl Edwards (3rd), Jeff Gordon (2nd), Mark Martin (31st), Kurt Busch (1st), Brian Vickers (5th), David Stremme (23rd), Michael Waltrip (25th) and A.J. Allmendinger (17th).
Kuj, you da man, for now. You and I have 6 drivers the same. The difference is you have Busch and I have Kahne (104 points), you have Allmendinger and I have Menard (179 points). Busch and Allmendinger will soon fall while Kahne and Menard take the lead in their categories.

Leads change in the early season the same way a yo-yo goes up and down (and sometimes the yo-yo gets stuck and never does come back up).
Congrats to Kuj for getting half his entry fee back. But don’t hold your breath for a Cobo Cup repeat championship, Kuj. Your wife needs you to stick around and help out.
HeeeHaaaaw!!!
I know it’s early but I might as well enjoy it while I’m winning! Mind you, to have F1 Rules on the trophy twice. . . well that would be priceless!
