Last year we had 174 entries, 26 short of our 200 entry cap. With 5 days remaining until the 2009 pick sheet deadline we have 60 entries turned in. That’s 114 short of last years total and 140 short of our 200 entry cap.
What is going on out there people. The dust has settled and the full time teams have been confirmed. So what’s the hold up? Qualifying for the 500 means nothing in the big 36 race picture.
Again, I will be at the Boston Pizza at the corner of Upper Centennial Pkwy and Highland Rd at 1:00 p.m. this Thursday, Feb. 12th for the Daytona qualifying races. Please come out to join me and the Cobo Cup gang for some food, fun, drinks and lots of racing. I will also have the 2009 Cobo Cup picksheets available to anyone that would like to join up.
