2009 Cobo Cup Race Parties.

Party, party, party! That seems to be all I think of when it comes to racing.

I would like to thank David of Smoke 20 for the great, fun filled Daytona 500 party he through at Boston Pizza in Grimsby. Tons of prizes, great food, great friends and lots of racing on their many screens. David tells me that we also made some more money for the worthy causes that he and many of us support. David you put on a great show and I can’t wait for the next one. These guys know how to put on a show!

I would also like to thank Rog 007 for handling the $5.00 driver pick tabs. The winners of the pool were: 1st place ($125 – Kenseth) Susan Sleo, 2nd place ($50 – Harvick) Dave Whinkler, 3rd place ($25 – Allmendinger) Jim Leva and last place ($15 – Logano) Mike Dipietro.

David will be hosting races this year at the Boston Pizza locations of Grimsby and Welland. Once the dates are confirmed I will pass the information along to the membership. David and I will also be hosting a race party together at the Upper Stoney Creek Boston Pizza for the race at Pocono on Sunday, June the 7th. More info to follow.
