2007 Cobo Cup Banquet

I would like to thank all that showed up at the banquet this past Saturday afternoon. It was nice to meet and greet most of the winners in this years Cobo Cup. Our Cobo Cup program director has put up a few pictures on the website www.cobocup.com from the 2007 Cobo Cup Banquet held on Saturday. Thanks again to John from Cayuga Motorsports for all his help this year and showing up with a box full of prizes to giveaway at this years banquet.

There were a few good ideas given to me by the team members that were there reguarding next years 2008 Cobo Cup. Any changes I add to next years pool will all depend on how many members join in 2008. I will now take the next couple of weeks off and focus on Christmas. I already have 50% of next years pool pick sheet complete which the teams on hand on Saturday got to see a unofficial version of. People that do not show up for the banquets do miss out on alot of fun and inside conversation into how the pick sheets are put together.

Hopefully through a few changes for next year more will join the pool and show up at the 2008 Cobo Cup Banquet.

Again, congradulations to this years Champ team Manxman. However, unlike Jimmy Johnson in the Cup Series no team has ever won back to back Championships in the Cobo Cup. So all the best to Manxman and everyone else that joins next years Cobo Cup.

Looking forward to working with John from Cayuga Motorsports again in 2008 and all the other sponsors that hopefully get on board the Cobo Cup.
